Have You Ever Dated a Guy Who Owns a Motorcycle?

There’s something about a guy who rides a motorcycle. He’s cool, spontaneous, fun — a rebel. Somebody your parents probably wouldn’t want you to date. That’s part of the reason some women are drawn to him so tell me . . .

I dated a guy for a whole two weeks only because he had a crotch rocket. It was fast and sexy and fun... basically everything he wasnt. He was fat with fish lips which he kept trying to put on me. The "I dont kiss on a first date" and "it's too soon" lines only work for so long before he realizes that all I wanted to do was ride his motorcycle... the real one, not the other one.

mesayme! i disagree! motorcycle rides are a great way to relax, enjoy the weather, and cuddle up to your hunny, with a bit more of a thrill than sitting on the couch,

dated a guy for a couple months who had a motorcycle. Ever since i've been trying to get my own.

My dad had a motorcycle so they never seemed exciting or exotic to me. Now, I see guys on motorcycles and think that they're just too poor to own a real car.

I married the only boyfriend I had who had a motorcycle. His whole family is kinda a harley family. He's not super duper into it though, he just likes riding in the summer when it is really nice outside. I don't really care about the bike, but I do ride with him so he has some arm (or bike) candy when he rides lol.

My boyfriend has a crotch rocket... it was there before I was. He raced it and did all the (in my opinion) stupid stunts. This is what makes me uneasy. When I'm on it with him, he is fine... It just makes me uneasy when he's on it without me. I am anxious enough as it is without having to deal with the motorcycle. I know I'm selfish for trying to get him to get rid of it, but I really wish he would.

I've known too many people who have had accidents and have either been seriously injured or killed. There is no way I would ever date someone who rode one and I will never ride one

I did. This was also the same guy who had the audacity to ask me, "So, how long did you make your last boyfriend wait until you had sex with him?" As if that wasn't jaw-dropping enough, he then proceeded to ask if he could store "the bike" in my garage rent-free. Suffice it to say, I did NOT return his phone calls ever again...

My bf right now rides them, not harleys though, cool sporty ones. It's super sexy.
I don't mind the danger part. It's something he loves to do. I ride horses, people get hurt and die in that too. If you love something, sometimes it's worth the risk. I guess we will both worry about each other a bit.

No, and I hope I never do. I've had enough of several family members (including both of my parents) fascination/obsession with their bikes that I'm completely turned off to it.

Apparently motorcyclists get into accidents so frequently that at hospitals they call them "Organ Donors". I wouldn't be down to get into a relationship with somebody who I'd constantly have to be worrying about, and I don't find it particularly sexy either.

My dad always had harleys and I loved them, but he had many friends who died while riding and the guys i know now that have them? are reckless and preoccupied with them, so no.

My husband wants one, I told him he can just ride his bicycle really really fast.

My boyfriend has three. Two are 1971 Hondas, and he doesn't ride them often. I don't really see it as "sexy" or "dangerous" - it's not a reason to stay with him, or a reason to leave him. It's just another vehicle that he rides when he's just going somewhere close by and doesn't need to transport anything with him. It saves a lot on gas.

My husband used to ride street bikes, but after having in accident (when I was 7 months pregnant at that), got out of street and now races motocross for fun! Our kids have their own dirt bike and are learning to ride now - they could have started racing as young as 4 - and people think we're crazy for it. Dirt's a lot safer than street though, you're more likely to break a few bones (and we've been through several of those) but definitely less likely to be killed!

    Too loud.
I hate motorcycles. They are one of my pet peeves. I have to roll up my windows because they either don't know how to adjust their carburetors or they are just showing off. So annoying!

Haha, my dad rebuilds and races motorcycles for a hobby, and has for longer than I have been alive. So motorcycles will forever remind me of my father... I have no real interest in dating someone who has one =)

YES!!! My boo rides a Ducati Monster, and I freaking LOOOOOVE going on rides with him! Before I dated him, I thought motorcycles where kind of tacky, and unappealing to me. But ever since I have been with him, I just can't get over how HOT he looks riding! It's definately a fun thing to do on a nice summer day.

My hubby bought a motorcycle about 3 years ago, and while I personally don't ride them, he really enjoys zipping around on it. (Not to mention that he saved loads of money on gas when he was commuting!)
I still get freaked out when he rides it on freeways and stuff (people just don't look for motorcycles!), but I did increase his life insurance policy to the max. *evil grin*
All in all.... He enjoys it, so great. I personally don't care.

My boyfriend has one. (Well, it was stolen 2 months ago, so we don't have it currently, and we are still waiting for the kid who stole it to pay for the charges to fix it.) Anyway, he has a 07 Yamaha r6. I love going on rides with him, it goes so fast and it's so much fun. I know how to ride also, but I'm short, so I can't ride his (and we can't afford one for me, too!) But yeah, he looks so hot riding on that thing... mmmm.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with my man having a motorcycle because I think they're dangerous! I'm paranoid enough as it is about car accidents.

Also, i would vote a big NO for the guy in the picture! No thanks caveman in short shorts. And isn't riding a motorcycle in shorts and sandals pretty dangerous??

My ex had one and my current boyfriend also has one. It wasn't what attracted me in either case though. Ex had a crotch rocket and LOVED to be dangerous with it, trying stunts and riding at insane speeds... I was never cool with that. Thankfully, my bf now is very careful, and I love that about him, among other things.
